Newly appointed Managing Director Kenya Industrial Estates

Principal Secretary Susan Mangéni joined the Board of Kenya Industrial Estates to welcome the new Managing Director, Nelson Kwamini. On behalf of the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs Development and the Cabinet Secretary, Hon FCPA Dr Wycliffe Oparanya, we warmly welcome him to Kenya’s vibrant MSME ecosystem that is central to the implementation of the government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.

Kenya Industrial Estates plays a critical role in advancing Kenya’s ambition to grow the manufacturing sector’s contribution to GDP to 20% by 2030. Through supporting manufacturers and cottage industries with funding of up to Ksh 20 million, the institution remains a key pillar in nurturing local enterprise, industrial growth, and job creation.
The Ministry and the Board of Directors of Kenya Industrial Estates KIE  assure Mr Kwanini of our full support as he takes on this important leadership role. The Minisitry looks forward to working together to strengthen Kenya’s manufacturing ecosystem and empower more MSMEs to scale and thrive.
