Preparations for Africa Capital Week to Unlock MSME Financing

Principal Secretary Susan Mang'eni hosted the Vision 2030 Delivery Board Chairperson, Dr Emmanuel Kombe Nzai, to discuss preparations for Africa Capital Week, scheduled for September 2026 in Kenya, Washington, DC and New York. The events play a critical role in unlocking private financing for the MSME sector.

The engagements will bring together key players across the capital markets, financial sector, private sector, development partners and investors, creating an important platform to explore innovative ways to mobilise capital for MSMEs and family businesses.

Africa Capital Week will also feature an MSME Roundtable session focused on incentivising banks, venture capital, pension funds, capital markets, philanthropists and impact investors to provide additional capital to de-risk and fund MSMEs, enabling MSMEs to accelerate growth at scale.
